Sandwich Malayalam Movie Review
The year 2011 seems to be the year of kunjacko boban after the success of sevens and doctor love recently, kunjacko boban is back with yet another entertaining movie. - Sandwich. The expectations were high for thios movie,so wsa the initial reception this movie received.This movie boasts of a superior starcast with ananya, richa panai, Suraj Venjaramoodu , Lalu Alex,Ganesh Kumar, Vijayakumar, Manoj K Jayan, Biju Pappan, and Kochu Preman.
Directed by M.S Manu, who has worked as an assistant to the veteran film maker Shaji Kailas, this movie promises big, But provides little. The loopholes in the script had been evident throughout the movie. The story written by ratheesh sukumaran could have been improved.
Kunchacko Boban is charming as usual with his outwitting ability to portray any character. He again proves why the Malayalee audiences love him. In this movie he acts the role of Sai, a software engineer. Nowadays it seems that a Malayalam movie is impossible without the presence of the lively Suraj Venjaramood. He plays the character of andipetty.The 2 heroines in the movie, Richa Panai, and Ananya had their share of screen space in this flick. Richa Panai, who debuted with the Malayalam movie vadamalli is ok. Ananya looks and acts better then Richa In this movie, but had to play second fiddle to her.
I saw the movie at the Girija Theater in thrissur. The response was normal and there were free seats here and there. But overall the theatre was filled. The support for kunjacko boban among the masses is quite evident in the way, the people cheers when they see him onscreen. With all these years hard work, kunjacko boban has acquired the status of a homely hero.
The movie overall is a watchable flick. Considering the fact that there is a lot of loop holes in the script it would be a good idea keeping your brains back at home. See the movie with your mind and heart and you are definitely bound to like it. See it with your rational mind and brains; you are definitely bound to regret watching it….
